The lunch after Zoom Meeting this Saturday (June 25) will be at Shing’s Kitchen at third Floor of Tanner Hill from 1 pm to 3 pm. We have booked a room for 16 persons. We need to have an idea of the actual number of lunch participants as soon as possible. Since the lunch will start at 1pm, we may do a demonstration on:
(1) how to use virtual Male or Female Voices to read text in PowerPoint;
(2) add transitions and animations; turn the PowerPoint file into video.
(3) upload video to YouTube.

We plan to have 30 Good Ideas available for John Lee 李家超, the New Chief Executive of Hong Kong, and his team in the first 30 days of their taking Office. Prof. Vincent Kwan 關品方教授 has kindly consented to let us use Good Ideas from his 1,000 articles.

You are also encouraged to submit your Good Ideas. We shall help to turn them into PowerPoint files and short videos to be published in YouTube and 百度. Thoughts after the Executive Meeting on July 12 on Good Ideas for John Lee.

1. There will be too much disagreement on what is a Good Idea. The chance of getting agreement with 4 or more organizations and more than a dozen strong-minded individuals before end of July is not likely.

2. The solution is for Lawrence Tseung to take the responsibility alone. Do not use the logo of the different organizations. Do not put conflicting ideas that may cause confusion. Acknowledge the contributions from all in a single paragraph.

3. Treat the discussions as First Tier Ideas. Accept that the Ideas may be half-baked. Present to John Lee’s Team as planned before end of July.

4. Leave the drafted 32 Good Ideas alone. Do the “merge and refine” to a smaller number of Very Good Ideas. Use the new title of “Very Good Ideas XX” where XX is from 01 to a suitable number developed before end of July.

5. Let existing contributors, interested organizations or individuals comment on the Good Ideas on YouTube. Work on the Very Good Ideas (with the existing small team) without disturbance.
